Re-evolution has participated as speaker at the "6th IIAS AUTUMN ARCHIVAL SCHOOL 2012" - Professional training course on the issues relating to Modern archival buildings and the Management of records in new media.
The event is organized annually by the IIAS (International Institute for Archival Science of Trieste and Maribor) in cooperation with the State Archives of Trieste and the University of Trieste.
The technicians of Re-evolution held a lecture on theory and practice entitled "HIGH TECH ARCHIVES & ARCHIVAL MANAGING EMERGENCY" – explaining to the participants (archival personnel from all over the world) the most critical aspects in emergency management in the archival field, the support of new technologies and the training of personnel.
The main topics discussed were:
- risk analysis (natural risks, external and internal artificial risks);
- specific laws and regulations for Archives;
- personnel Training;
- building and technology systems maintenance.
